Welcome
Dharohar Foundation is a charitable trust established in 2016 by Mr. Ranvir Sisodia, a passionate advocate for Indian art and craft. The foundation primarily operates in the eastern region of Gujarat, with its head office located in Vadodara. Dharohar focuses on addressing the migration issues faced by rural and tribal communities, as well as those living in city slums. At the core of our mission is the empowerment of women. Additionally, we are dedicated to promoting traditional crafts, preserving cultural heritage, and safeguarding our rich legacy.
Mission
We provide a platform for the rural-urban art and craft community by offering capacity-building initiatives, training programs, and specialized modules, along with essential support services. These efforts enable artisans to create better livelihood opportunities. Additionally, we make continuous efforts to promote and sustain our age-old crafts, ensuring their preservation for future generations.
Vision
Our aim is to empower unskilled and untapped women and men artisans in Gujarat by offering art and craft-based activities, as well as alternative skill development opportunities to generate sustainable livelihoods. We are committed to providing long-term growth prospects through environmental awareness and fair-trade practices.
